What to Expect at Our Pet Boarding Facility
Our experienced and caring team is dedicated to providing your pet with the best possible care while you’re away. Feel free to bring items for your pet from home including food, treats and toys to help provide comfort to your pet during their stay. Some beds and blankets are welcome, but since pets often soil beds, they may need to be removed and washed.
Other features of our boarding service include:
- Two walks a day in our fenced-in area
- Provided Purina EN during meals unless food is brought from home
- Clean and secure kennels with bedding for rest
- Complimentary bath for our canine guests prior to pickup
Policies to Keep Our Boarding Guests Safe
At Bulverde Animal Hospital, we take the well-being of your pet very seriously when you entrust us with their care. We require our boarding guests to be up to date on their vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of all pets under our roof.
All guests must have received the following vaccines within the last year prior to boarding with us:
For Dogs:
- Rabies
- DHPP
- Canine Flu
- Bordetella
For Cats:
- Rabies
- FVRCP
All vaccines need to be up to date and given at least two weeks prior to boarding. We recommend an annual booster for continued protection against the canine flu.
